Welcome to Opportunities in Marine Science Technology

Saddleback has two options to give students flexibility in their marine careers.

The Seamanship track offers students hands-on-the-deck training throughout Southern California and the Channel Islands, on boats as large as 48 feet! Classes prepare students for Coast Guard Licensing exams and to assist scientists, engineers, and researchers, abroad and ashore.

The Marine Science Tech track launches students into marine environmental management careers, teaching navigation and vessel operation, in addition to scientific fundamentals.

With demand high in California, there’s no better time to cast off toward a rewarding career in Marine Science.
