Saddleback’s Medical Lab Technician (MLT) program gives students hands-on clinical experience in affiliated medical labs, students learn how to perform routine medical procedures like phlebotomy and clinical chemistry deductions. Graduates go on to earn their ASCP certifications and start satisfying careers as licensed medical techs.
MLTs are in-demand throughout California, with opportunities in the field projected to expand by nearly 20% through 2026. More than 80% of Saddleback MLT grads go on to secure solid jobs in the field, making this career path an excellent choice.
